Friday Night Smackdown is officially on the air!
New World Champion, CM Punk, is recruiting again... looking for new members to add to the Straight Edge Society. Who will he approach? Who will accept his offer?
"The Rated R Superstar" Edge is banned from the arena tonight. Will Edge find his way in anyway, or will he respect the GM's order to stay out of the building?
"The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels will debut tonight on Smackdown, taking on the veteran Carlito. The showcase of the Cruiserweights continue, and Gail Kim moves closer to her WWE Divas Championship defense against Alissa Flash. #1 contenders to the world tag team championship will be decided as "The Game" Triple H and "The Animal" Batista team up to take on Santino Marella and Goldust.
Plus there will be a rare appearance by the chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon. What will the chairman have to say? Tune in to find out.

Smackdown general manager JBL announced just moments ago that he had reached a deal with "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. There are no details on how he was released from his previous employer, of the deal recently struck with JBL. The only thing clear is that JBL intends to have Daniels compete exclusively for Friday Night Smackdown, and will more than likely be a part of the recently revived cruiserweight division.

Fresh off the draft, Smackdown is back on the air with JBL as the new general manager!
JBL hosts a 16 man tournament to determine a new world heavyweight champion. What does that mean for Edge, who won the ECW Championship at WrestleMania?
